PATU

Progressive Allied & travel Union of South Africa is a trade union who reclaim workers dignity...

Progressive Allied & travel Union of South Africa’s establishment is related to the fact that a growing number of employees from all walks of life felt the need for a much stronger, party-politically independent, non-racial and stable trade union.

Who can advance the interests of employees and of the economy of South Africa in an independent and responsible manner.

We believe that all workers, regardless of race, should organise and unite, and workers themselves must control the structures and committees of the trade union.

In a country where women have been highly oppressed, we are determined to strive for gender equality and women leadership, we have been among the fastest growing trade union movements in the South Africa. and when most trade unions are facing a decline in membership, we have continued to grow.
